WHAT WE DO

Anchored within the many common characteristics of our faith, we will focus on community engagement, organizing, charity and service to our brothers and sisters. Faith Works is committed to working intently with all communities and organizations to facilitate transformational change, strengthen the voice of all Georgians, and to make an indelible impact on the lives of every community throughout the State of Georgia.

We believe that the central theme in addressing this ideal is vigorously supporting the democratic ideal that every person who can legally vote must be provided the opportunity to do so.

Our actions focus on ensuring local faith-based institutions are creating customized strategies that encourage their congregations to participate in high-scale voting; confirm that all people of faith are organized, informed, and prepared to vote; and that every one person able to vote has the needed tools and support to address any obstacles that may get in the way of that mission.

While the organization looks to leverage the impact on faith-based congregations and the unique convening power of the state’s most senior religious leaders, Faith Works is committed to working together with all Georgians to support voting access, regardless of their faith in God, political beliefs, race, color, creed, socio-economic background or any other differences that may arise.

Faith Works is an initiative organized and operated exclusively by Transforming Georgia within the meaning of Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code.
